Black walnut is a high-grade hardwood, scientifically known as Juglans nigra, primarily sourced from eastern North America. This wood is renowned for its dark color, rich grain, and excellent workability, making it widely used in furniture manufacturing, interior decoration, and high-end wood products. The heartwood of black walnut ranges in color from light brown to dark chocolate, while the sapwood is light yellow.
After sanding and varnishing, its natural grain becomes more pronounced, showcasing a unique aesthetic. Furthermore, black walnut has moderate hardness, making it easy to process and carve, while also possessing good stability and durability, making it suitable for crafting furniture and decorative items for long-term use.
In terms of environmental protection, black walnut typically meets E0 or higher environmental standards, making it suitable for indoor use. We currently offer black walnut three-layer composite panels in a modern and minimalist style, with strong thermal insulation properties and an E0 environmental rating, available nationwide. Black walnut is particularly suitable for crafting high-end furniture, as its beautiful grain, strong stability, and durability surpass those of walnut wood. Walnut wood is relatively soft, making it suitable for carving, but it is not very resistant to warping. We mainly deal in solid wood panels and do not currently carry black walnut products.
